Megan Monteleone

Associate

Megan received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2023 and brings experience in a wide variety of cross-border, anti-corruption issues.

During law school, Megan worked at the United States Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C., in the Fraud, Public Corruption, and Civil Rights Section, served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Zia M. Faruqui of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, was a Senior Executive Line Editor for the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal, and was a leader of the Georgetown Trial Advocacy Team. Megan also represented victims of domestic violence through the Georgetown Domestic Violence Clinic and assisted with the defense of a death row inmate as part of the Death Penalty Litigation Practicum.

Prior to law school, Megan worked as an Associate at Human Rights Watch on issues related to corruption and human rights in Latin America. Before that, Megan was an International Affairs Specialist at the U.S. DOJ, Criminal Division, Office of International Affairs, where she handled incoming mutual legal assistance (MLAT) requests from Central and South America and worked closely with foreign counterparts.

Megan speaks English and Spanish.
